Participation: the project enabled a meeting of 298 citizens , 140 of whom were from Malas (Slovakia), 15 from Gavignano (Italy) , 55 from Notincs (Hungary), 15 from Guľôčka (Slovakia), 18 from Racibórz), 10 from the educational institution Lipka (Czech Republic), 45 from the non-profit organization Botorka, Balan (Romania).

Quick description:
On June 29, 2018, the official opening of the event took place , where the program of the event was presented, its significance and goals, the history of cooperation. Partners’ representatives explained the importance of cooperation, city partnerships with   to support the idea of ​​interconnection between EU Member States and associated countries. Event participants received basic information about   project progress, types of activities. In  the afternoon was a discussion about „My Beginnings in   foreign country „, associated with   presenting the experiences of people living in   abroad with   integration, overcoming language and   cultural barriers, prejudices and   fear . Participants focused on the potential for increased solidarity, cohesion and the fight against xenophobia. In the evening, a cultural evening was held to identify the traditions and customs of people living in the EU.

On 30 June 2018, a formal meeting of representatives of partners took place in the morning – a discussion on the possibilities of cooperation in expanding themes related to the life of young people and greater participation of citizens in social life, as well as promoting life in a common, united Europe, sharing a positive- be part of the EU. In the morning, the presentation of successful projects supported by EU grants, which significantly contributed to the change of the environment and public life, the project partners presented successful projects and their impact on the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality. Representative of the Lipka educational institution presented the possibilities of financing EU development projects (grants, funds, partnerships) for local development. In the afternoon, a workshop on „Volunteering” was held presenting opportunities for active volunteering at local level, community development, debate on positive aspects of volunteering, opportunities to engage in volunteering at local and European level – Presentation of the newly created „European Solidarity Fund ” For the youngest, a series of activities aimed at collecting basic information on EU countries, their culture, customs – presenting the diversity of the European Union was prepared .   In the evening, a debate was held to improve EU understanding, to enhance EU confidence as an institution, to reduce Euroscepticism and Europhob due to a lack of information and knowledge, to create its own critical view of the EU, its current state and future direction. In the framework of cultural events, participants were prepared to present hand-made traditional products (blacksmiths, lagers, potters), cooking contests, short films on minority integration in individual EU countries.

On 07/01/2018 meetings Participants through information activities focused attention on obtaining information concerning the active participation in EU policies (introduction of the European Citizens Initiative, Debating Europe, Citizens Dialogue), get an overview of how active use of existing tools through which they can influence the direction The EU how they can engage and actively participate in European level problem-solving and participate in life within the EU.

Throughout the event, a survey was conducted to identify participants’ attitudes that the EU would like in the future on issues of self-sufficiency, security, cultural diversity, citizenship and the common currency. The results of the survey were presented at the Final Conference, where participants were informed of the results of the event, compliance with EU priorities and impact on the lives of the participating citizens.[:]
